Investor Engagement

Listening to and maintaining a dialogue with the investors, both existing and potential, help us understand their expectation as well as concerns. That understanding in turn, helps us to fine-tune our engagement and structure reporting, so that information will be relevant to them, leading to building up mutual trust and a loyal following of investors who will take a long-term view of the value of their investments in the Bank, without being swayed by short-term fluctuations in performance. The section on Stakeholders, details various frameworks that govern our engagement process and how we communicate with our investors in general.

The Chief Executive and the Deputy Chief Executive maintain a dialogue with key institutional investors and bring any matters of concern to the notice of the Board. The Board approved Communication Policy of the Bank ensures that information is made available to shareholders and other stakeholders through timely disclosures made to the CSE, publicity through press and electronic media and posts on the bank’s website. The Annual General Meeting held on 30 March 2016 gave an opportunity for shareholders to interact with the Board and the Management.
